Yoga

Yoga teaches us what is surprisingly simple: how to get to know our body.

Yoga has become an increasingly popular exercise program for both women and men of all ages. Many people think of yoga as a form of meditation linked to harmony between the body and mind, which is true. But did you know that yoga also packs a great workout?

Yoga offers the same benefits as many Western workouts, with the added benefit of not requiring any special equipment or even much space. There are different styles of yoga you can choose from, depending on your level of flexibility so you're sure to find a yoga program that is right for you. If the first one you try isn't for you, try another one.

By learning and practicing different yoga positions and proper breathing, you will build flexibility and strength. It is also a great way to relieve stress. Talk to your doctor about whether yoga is right for you and check out the yoga classes that are offered in your local community.
